How does the EMR integration actually work?▼
Beim connects to your EMR (NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Epic, athenahealth, and FHIR-compatible systems) via a secure API gateway. Once authorized, we can cross-reference patient biometrics, ICD-10 codes, and lab results with our product catalog to generate clinically relevant recommendations. The integration is read-only — Beim never writes to your medical records. Setup typically takes one session with your IT contact.
How does the revenue share work?▼
When a patient purchases a product through Beim that was recommended via your practice's integration, you receive a percentage of the sale. The exact revenue share depends on your partnership tier — Design Partners (early adopters) receive a preferred rate locked in for the life of the partnership. There are no fees, no minimums, and no clawbacks. Revenue is paid monthly.
Do I need to stock inventory or manage fulfillment?▼
No. Beim handles all fulfillment directly-to-consumer. Products ship from our brand partners to the patient's door. Your practice never touches inventory, manages shipping, or handles returns. You simply review and sign off on LMNs when flagged — everything else is automated.
What is the Clinical Evidence Level (CEL) grading?▼
Every product in Beim's catalog is graded A through D using our Clinical Evidence Level rubric. Grade A means multi-RCT evidence with 90–100% physician confidence. Grade D means early-stage or limited evidence. Is patient data shared with anyone?▼
Beim is HIPAA-compliant. Patient health data is used solely to generate product recommendations and is never shared with third parties, advertisers, or employers. The EMR integration is read-only — we analyze data in place and only surface recommendations. Patients can also use Beim without the EMR integration by self-reporting their health goals directly.
